Boko Haram Financier Arrested (VIDEO)


Men of the Nigerian military have arrested a man, Mohammed Maina, who is suspected to be involved in financing the activities of Boko Haram terrorists.

The army spokesperson Sani Usman in a statement said some troops of 112 battalion and special  forces in Mafa and Dikwa  arrested Maina, a native of Ngurosoye in Shuari village of Bama local government area, Borno state on Monday, October 5.

The suspect, the army spokesperson said supplies kola-nuts and other items especially stimulants to terrorists in their hideouts.

Investigation revealed that Mohammed supplies them Kolanuts and other items especially stimulants. He further revealed that kolanuts is in high demand among the terrorists as it keeps them  active at night,” Usman said.

Usman said the suspected terrorist had one million Naira and some items in his possession during his arrest.

“It is apparent also that he plies Maiduguri-Dikwa-Kulli axis where he gathers monetary  and other materials contributions from Boko Haram sympathizers along that axis and send same to the terrorists camps.” he said.

Usman said during the operation, many terrorists were killed and various items including one buffalo vehicle mounted with an anti-aircraft gun, a rocket propelled grenade, two machine guns and one sub-machine gun.
