Breaking News: Buhari Sacks NSA, Service Chiefs
President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the National Security Adviser, NSA, Col. Sambo Dasuki, (retd) and other service chiefs.
The President has relieved the service chiefs, including the heads of the army, air force and navy of their appointments, Femi Adesina told newsmen, adding that replacements would be announced soon.
The sacked chiefs are; Alex Badeh, Chief of Defence staff; Usman Jibrin, Chief of Naval Staff, Kenneth Minimah, Chief of Army Staff and Adesola Amosu, Chief of Air Staff.
Their replacements were not immediately announced.
Military experts said the service chiefs expected they would be fired any day, as such, they were hardly settled for the complex war against Boko Haram.
