Police Nab 15 Dog Eaters

No fewer than 15 persons have been arrested by police detectives in Asaba, Delta State for allegedly stealing and killing dogs that are not theirs.

It was reliably gathered that residents of the area have always been complaining of their dogs missing in the area before it was discovered that the suspects were the ones behind the incidence.

Expectedly, the police detectives were said to have uncovered a joint around Nnebisi road, popularly called “Billy Finish,” where young men and girls whose ages range between 19 and 23, cool off with the well prepared dog meat.

The police public relations officer in the state, DSP. Celestina Kalu, who confirmed the arrest of the suspects disclosed that one of the owners of the dogs had petitioned the police over his several missing dogs, adding that his attempt to find them proved abortive.

The police chief said the suspects were arrested after several investigations into the issue of missing dogs.
