The leader of the Niger Delta People’s Salvation and Volunteer Front (NDSVF), Alhaji Asari Dokubo, has said the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), President Goodluck Jonathan has already won the 2015 general elections.
Dokubo, who is the founder of King Amachree African University, Republic of Benin, said this at the burial ceremony of late Princess Preba Abigail Prince Ekineh, who happened to be his grandmother.
He expressed optimism that it is not possible for Jonathan who is also from the Niger Delta region to lose the election that returns him for the second term in office, while speaking further at the burial ceremony which was organized by the NDSVF, at Buguma in Asari Toru Local Government Area of the sate.
Asari, who insisted that Jonathan must win the presidential poll, went ahead to described the election as a walk over, adding that he does not know how it will be done but maintained that measures have been put in place for the success of president Jonathan in the election.
Asari while speaking on the happenings in Rivers State noted that there was a very high level of injustice playing out in the state’s politics, because the political power in the state is supposed to be rotating among the different ethnic nationalities that make up the state.
The freedom fighter, who stated that power should not be static on one place alone, advocated that power should be shifted to the Ogoni ethnic nationality.
